Are you handy with a hammer, enjoy woodworking, or simply hanker after being part of a creative team?

White Rock Players might just have the opportunity for you to be part of a more than 80-year tradition.

A notice sent out by the club says it is looking for volunteers to help "bring the magic of theatre alive" by building scenery and set pieces for upcoming productions – including the celebrated annual pantomime – at the club's home, the Oceana PARC Playhouse (1532 Johnston Rd.).

Applicants should have basic woodworking skills, or a willingness to learn, and must be "enthusiastic team players who enjoy collaborative projects."
