A suspended Tennessee lawyer is accused of murdering his girlfriend while out on bond for threatening her with a knife , with cops saying he had a "history" of going after her — resulting in four arrests over a span of six months, records show.
Jared Streich, 40, has been charged with murder for allegedly strangling Miranda Gray, 46, on Monday morning inside her Nashville apartment on Hermitage Park Drive, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
The former Rutherford County attorney was suspended by the Supreme Court of Tennessee in June for six years following two different domestic violence arrests in February and April. The first incident led to Streich being ordered to stay away from Gray, which he allegedly refused to do.
