HELENA — Welcome to the expanded Frontier Conference .

Old rivals square off in Butte next Thursday, but 2025 will be about forming new rivalries and squads overcoming new obstacles to potentially represent the 14-team Frontier in the NAIA Football Championship Series.

Victors of each division ( East and West ) receive automatic berths into the 20-team NAIA FCS, plus any other at-large-caliber programs. Division play, which includes six games, begins in October. But for teams building playoff resumes, work begins as quickly as next week.

Here are 15 Frontier Conference players who can help their teams reach the playoff promised land. They are presented in no particular order on a list we expanded to 15 names to keep pace with the growing conference.
