OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha police responded to a fight between two students at Central High School on Thursday morning.
In a letter to parents, Omaha Public Schools officials said one of the students showed a knife and both students were cut.
Officials said staff and a school resource officer were able to de-escalate the situation.
Both students received minor injuries and did not go to the hospital, Omaha police said.
The school said the incident was under control quickly, so they never placed the building under "hold" or "secure."
Investigators said they could consider pursuing charges against one of the students.
