DALLAS, TX (WFSB) - Former University of Connecticut star Paige Bueckers continues to make history in the WNBA.

The Dallas Wings rookie put up a career high 44 points on Wednesday night.

It was the most points scored this season by any player and was tied for the 10th most all time, per BasketballReference.com .

Bueckers did it on 81 percent shooting from the field.

The WNBA said the only other rookies to score 40 points in league history were Cynthia Cooper and Candace Parker.
