ST. LOUIS — Anheuser-Busch will invest $15 million its Soulard brewery, the company said in a release.

The money will go to upgrades to the brewery electrical system and production equipment, plus supply chain infrastructure, such as new trucks, trailers and railroad crossings.

The funding is part of of A-B's previously announced $300 million commitment to improving its facilities across the United States this year. The company recently announced investments in its breweries in New York, Texas, Ohio, Colorado and Virginia.

Last year , A-B said it would invest a separate $8 million in its St. Louis brewery to help bolster the workforce. The company has invested nearly $2 billion in its 100-facility footprint over the past five years.
