We do have a big change coming in our weather here in Michigan. This weekend we get our first fall cold front. The weather will be divided in two, one day summery and one day fall-like.
The weather maker for rain is the cold front. On a cold front we usually get off-and-on showers for a few hours. It’s not a constant rain for a long time. At any one spot in Lower Michigan this Saturday you can expect two or three hours of rain showers or non-severe thundershowers.

You get the idea of a band of showers for a few hours Saturday as the cold front sweeps southeast across Michigan. It will be late Saturday afternoon before the showers make it into Ann Arbor and Detroit. The showers will start in northwest Lower ar
