A Toronto native is facing drug-trafficking charges after police searched a residence in Wikwemikong First Nation.

The OPP said the warrant was executed Wednesday on Daawema Road by members of the North East Region Community Street Crime Unit, with assistance from the Manitoulin OPP, United Chief and Councils of Manitoulin Police and the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service.

Police seized suspected fentanyl with an estimated street value of $10,900, along with cocaine and crack worth more than $1,700, and approximately $7,800 in cash.

Sunny Hang, 21, from North York, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and opioids for the purpose of trafficking, along with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
