Burlington Skyway Niagara-bound lane closures are scheduled this weekend (Aug. 22-25).

Two Niagara-bound lanes of the QEW on the Burlington Skyway are slated to be closed all weekend from Friday, Aug. 22 at 10 p.m. through to Monday, Aug. 25 at 5 a.m.

“Construction on the QEW Fort Erie Bound … 2 left lanes,” warned the Ministry of Transportation post on 511on.ca .

The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled a series of weekend lane closures over the Niagara-bound Burlington Skyway this summer and while no more are currently planned, it did say through a news release posted on its 511on.ca website that “more closures may be required after August.”
