Cue the spotlight! "Back to the Future: The Musical" is speeding into Boston at 88 miles per hour with a local performer taking center stage.

"I get emotional thinking about it," said Zan Berube. "It's little Zan's dream."

It was Berube's density– or rather, destiny to perform at the Citizens Opera House.

"I remember eating across the street at Legal Seafoods, waiting in anticipation to see the shows, sitting in the audience, having the playbill in hand, looking at all of these actors' names, reading their bios, memorizing them," Berube said, "and just hoping and dreaming one day it would be me up there."
