Ja'Lynn Polk is in for another disappointing year.

The 2024 second-round pick reportedly will miss the entire 2025 season due to a shoulder injury, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported Thursday and the Boston Herald's Doug Kyed confirmed .

Polk, 23, will get surgery after seeing multiple specialists and determining the best course of action, Schultz reported.

Polk was injured in the preseason opener against the Washington Commanders after being tackled to the ground on an end-around run. He immediately signaled to come off the field and did not return.

The Washington alum was drafted 37th overall by the Patriots last April, but he had an underwhelming rookie season in New England.
