LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - t’s feeling much better across Kentucky as the overall weather pattern starts to change. With unseasonably cool temps on the way, I’m issuing the first of its kind Pumpkin Spice THREAT for early next week.

This threat will soon be upgraded to a full-blown ALERT as the Pumpkin Spice season gets started a little early this year.

Multiple days with highs in the 70s and lows that may flirt with records qualify for this special threat.

Before we get there, temps today are generally low and middle 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. Winds out of the northeast will be gusty from time to time and there’s the small chance for a shower or storm to go up in the east and southeast.

Friday looks pretty good with similar sky conditions, giving us a nice start to the high school
