RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The man killed in a stabbing at John Champion Park has been identified.
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office says 48-year-old Juan Francisco-Martinez died following the incident at the park on Aug. 9.
Martinez was found injured at the park and taken to Renown, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving,
His cause of death was determined to be multiple stab wounds, and the manner of death was declared a homicide.
The Reno Police Department is investigating the incident.
