CLEVELAND, Ohio -- ODOT initial denial of a building permit for the Browns sunken covered stadium across from Hopkins airport is dubious and highly suspect since the FAA had already approved the plan and Governor Mike DeWine signed off on the Ohio legislature loaning the project $600 million from unclaimed funds.

ODOT’s yellow penalty flag belatedly being thrown should have a yellow penalty flag thrown at ODOT and go to video for further review from the booth.

The permit was denied because the stadium that is already sunken due to the airport, still exceeds ODOT height limits. Objections from the city of cleveland and it’s airport director were also cited in the initial denial.

ODOT has given the Browns three options. 1) Appeal 2) Further lower the stadium 3) Move the stadium’s location
