OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha police responded to a cutting incident at Central High School Thursday morning that left two boys injured.

A police spokesperson said the incident occurred just after 9 a.m. when a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy got into a fight.

The younger boy brandished a knife and cut the 16-year-old boy, police said.

Omaha Fire Department medics transported the injured boy to Creighton University Medical Center for treatment of a minor injury.

The suspect was also wounded during the fight and was treated at Nebraska Medical Center.

Police said charges are pending and the suspect will be booked when he is released from the hospital.
