A state representative has thrown her hat into the ring for Indiana Senate District 41, becoming the second Johnson County politico to announce a run for the seat.
State Rep. Michelle Davis, R-Whiteland, announced she was running for the Senate District 41 seat on Wednesday night during a fundraiser at Patriot Products in Franklin. Current officeholder Sen. Greg Walker, R-Columbus, is not seeking reelection next year. Senate District 41 represents all of Franklin, Needham, Nineveh and Blue River townships and part of Pleasant Township in Johnson County and the entirety of Bartholomew County.
