KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - For the first time in its history, CPKC Stadium will play host to a game featuring the U.S. Women’s National Team.

On Thursday, the Kansas City Current announced that CPKC Stadium will be the setting for a match between the United States and New Zealand.

The match will be the final game of the USWNT’s three-match October FIFA international window and will be played Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. CT.

It will be broadcast on TNT, truTV and HBO Max.

Several KC Current players have made appearances with the American national team throughout the past year, and could be on the roster when the USWNT plays in Kansas City later this fall.
