WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Head coach Sean McVay said on Thursday that quarterback Matthew Stafford won't travel to Cleveland for the team's preseason finale, but he's been a full participant in this week's practices. McVay added that they are "working through" decisions on which other veteran players will not travel for that game.

He confirmed that quarterback Dresser Winn will start on Saturday against Cleveland. Winn hasn't received any snaps in 2025, but played the entirety of last season's preseason finale against the Texans, completing 9 of 16 passes for 72 yards.

Meanwhile, second-round pick Terrance Ferguson will see his first NFL action on Saturday, McVay said, after the tight end was held out of the first two preseason games and some of training camp with a groin injury.
