COLUMBUS, Georgia — The Georgia Chamber of Commerce’s annual Congressional Luncheon was held Tuesday. Business leaders and elected officials from across the state gathered in Columbus for the meeting.

The day’s agenda covered topics like national security, the legislative process and energy. Among those on stage included senate candidates in the 2026 race, creating some midterm buzz.

Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff, the incumbent running to keep his seat, along with his competitors Republican R ep. Buddy Carter and Republican Rep. Mike Collins each participated in separate conversations on stage. Ossoff’s other prominent competitor, former Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley, was among those in the crowd rubbing elbows and shaking hands.
