WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Both Democratic and Republican candidates for Georgia's governor spoke at a candidates' forum in Warner Robins Wednesday afternoon, outlining their policy positions should they replace term-limited Gov. Brian Kemp.

Despite voters not selecting the next governor for over a year, the Georgia NAACP's statewide and Bibb County and Houston County chapters organized the event at First Baptist Church on Garmon Street in Warner Robins.

The forum featured candidates on both the Republican and Democratic side. Five candidates appeared in person while three sent in videos that were played during the event.

The qualification period for governor has not wrapped up yet, which will offer the clearest picture of who will be on the ballot in the 2026 race.
