Allen Park — Aidan Hutchinson called it the “last hurrah” of training camp, moments after the Lions had finished up Thursday’s joint practice with the Houston Texans.

But as the Lions’ dominant edge rusher recapped the entire body of work over the last month, he admitted there was one moment that stood out as the first hallelujah, if you will.

And for a guy who’d seen his career flash before his eyes only 10 months ago, when Hutchinson fractured his leg midway through a Week 5 rout of the Cowboys in Dallas, it wasn’t the sort of game-wrecking play you’d expect. It wasn’t a sack, or a forced fumble or even an interception.
