CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (KKTV) - A man in Castle Rock is facing several charges after allegedly trying to offer drugs in a drive-thru in exchange for his meal.
On Thursday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the male pulled through the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant and offered to sell drugs to the window clerk in exchange for his meal.
Deputies said he showed the clerk a foil with a white powdery substance that resembled cocaine.
When the clerk turned him down, deputies said the man said he’d wait for them if they changed their mind and proceeded to walk inside the restaurant.
When deputies arrived on scene, they said a white powder substance lined out on a cell phone was visible in plain view inside the suspect’s car.
