The Ontario Provincial Police arrested and charged a driver with multiple offences after a traffic stop on Highway 17 in West Nipissing.
On Wednesday around 3:40 p.m., members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the OPP, were alerted by the Automated License Plate Recognition system, of a possible suspended driver on Highway 17 in West Nipissing.

The driver was arrested for being impaired and a suspended driver, then transported to the Greater Sudbury Police Service for further testing.
A small amount of cannabis was located in the vehicle.
