ARTHUR, Iowa (KTIV) - An Arthur, Iowa, man pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Aug. 20, in federal court.

Thirty-two-year-old Wesley Ham pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The office says evidence, presented during the plea hearing, showed that between March 2022 and September 2023, Ham received and possessed both videos and images of child pornography.

At the plea hearing, Ham also admitted to receiving and possessing the content, but not distributing it. Ham remains in the custody of the United States Marshal until a sentencing is set.

Federal officials say he faces a possible maximum sentence of 20 years or a minimum sentence of at least 5 years. He also faces a $250,000 fine and at least five years of supervised release. There is no par
