HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- Thursday's Hometown Heroes are serving others before heading back to school.

The faculty and administration at Trinity High School in Camp Hill volunteered Thursday at the Saint Francis Soup Kitchen in Harrisburg.

Each year, staff choose a service retreat before the school year starts.

"The Saint Francis Soup Kitchen does beautiful work, working with the homeless and those facing food insecurity, and we want the area to know the wonderful work they do," Eileen Poplaski, Trinity High School principal, said. "They just have to reach out."
