GALESBURG, Ill. (WMBD) -- The Galesburg Fire Department is continuing its annual fundraiser to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The campaign will have firefighters asking pedestrians and motorists for donations at various intersections around the city on Aug. 22, Aug. 29 and Sept. 5, according to a Galesburg Fire news release.

The funds will go towards research and therapies to support those impacted by muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related muscle-debilitating diseases.
