SANDERSVILLE, Ga. — After nearly three decades, the textile industry is making a comeback in this Central Georgia city , bringing new life to a building that once housed bustling manufacturing operations.

Rally Apparel officially opened its doors to the public with a ribbon cutting ceremony, marking the return of textile manufacturing to Sandersville in Washington County. The company operates out of a facility that previously housed Royal Manufacturing, which closed in the 1990s along with numerous other textile mills that moved operations overseas.

For Becky Broussard, the reopening represents a full-circle moment. She worked in the same building nearly 30 years ago when it was Royal Manufacturing.
