ATLANTA — Some of the largest Atlanta-based companies have made changes on their websites regarding their stances on DEI.
The Home Depot, which previously had a section of its corporate website dedicated to DEI, has now rebranded it to “WeAreTHD.” Previously, the home improvement retailer discussed efforts to ensure the company culture “maintains a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.” That messaging has been removed and replaced with a statement regarding a focus on creating a “compelling associate experience.”
“We're proud to have a culture that welcomes everyone, and we believe it helps us achieve our business goals by supporting associates, building relationships and fostering innovation,” a Home Depot spokesperson said over email in response to an inquiry about the company
