TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - After three days of individual and group questioning, a jury has been selected to decide Donna Adelson ’s fate in her murder and conspiracy trial.

The jury of 12, plus two alternates, will now spend at least the next two weeks listening to testimony to determine whether Adelson, 75, played a key role in a murder-for-hire plot to kill her former son-in-law, Dan Markel , in 2014.

Eight men and four women are on the main jury, and two more women were selected as alternates.

The jurors all come from diverse backgrounds. Among the selected are a married truck driver, a single nurse, a retiree, a local business owner and a project manager.
