SUPERIOR, Wis. (Northern News Now) - What started with a police check on a Superior woman’s unusual behavior on Aug. 5 has since turned into a city-wide search for a missing person.

The Superior Police Department is actively searching in an expanded 4-mile radius from the last known whereabouts of Corrine Johansen. Her cell phone was found near the Superior High School on railroad tracks last Sunday.

A call Johansen’s daughter Chloe Ksicinski never thought she would have to make on Aug. 5 started this citywide search.

“I called in and they asked what is the address of your emergency? I said there isn’t an address, but my mom is missing, she ran away and she’s not home,” Ksicinski said.
