DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Northland Fitness has been raising money for Bob Watkins, an Army Ranger veteran who currently has an unreliable vehicle.
Bob lives down the street from the gym. He’s known by both the owners and customers for his simple acts of kindness.
Whether he is picking up litter in the gym parking lot or greeting someone on their way to work out, the owner of Northland Fitness, Griffin Hopf, said Bob has made an impact on the community. Which is why they wanted to help him get a reliable vehicle.
“He’s a neighbor of the gym and a friend of the gym,” said Hopf. “He doesn’t go here, but he is a part of the Northland Fitness family. and I just knew in my heart that there’s something I could’ve done.”
