URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - A final decision is a month away for the restructuring of two Central Illinois hospitals.

OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center has proposed plans to move some of its services to the Danville Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Thursday, people were able to share their concerns about the proposed changes. Mainly, people agreed that there needs to be a change. But several believed that it should not include the complete closure of several departments.

Officials said some cuts to services are already underway because of not being able to retain staff due to uncertainty.

At the end of August, the plan is to move the operating room and intensive care unit.
