DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine (WABI) - For the 138th year, the Piscataquis Valley Fair has returned to Dover-Foxcroft.

Thursday was opening day, kicking off four days of fun.

It’s $10 a day to get in for those 12 and older, $5 for kids 5 to 12, and those 5 and younger get in free.

The fair has a lot to offer including rides, live music, tractor pulls, animals, and much more.

We spoke with one familiar face about what makes this fair special.

“The rides, the comradery, everybody’s friendly down here, and the fairground is well laid out. It’s spaced pretty good. This is a great fair, great tradition.
