Chandler Unified School District’s Governing Board took the final step Aug. 20 in getting a state-mandated change into its written policy.

In the process, the board and administration cleared up what at least one board member said was what he considered vague language.

The board unanimously approved its consent agenda at the meeting, which included about six policy revisions. One revision addressed the student code of conduct, with a section called “Cellular Telephone and Other Wireless Communication Devices.”
