AUBURN — Bralan Womack, a consensus four-star safety prospect in the 2026 class, announced his commitment to Hugh Freeze and Auburn football on Thursday, giving the program a significant recruiting win just before its 2025 season begins.

A product of Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi, Womack is ranked as a five-star prospect by 247Sports, and both 247 and Rivals consider him the best safety in his class. He's also a consensus top-40 player nationally, with 247 ranking him as the 13th-best player in the cycle.

Womack was the Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year in 2024, pushing Hartfield Academy to 12 wins and a second-straight state championship. He registered 39 tackles and eight interceptions, as well as 54 receptions for 1,045 yards and 13 touchdowns on offense. He also
