A convicted sex offender was charged Thursday with child annoyance with four girls in stores in Garden Grove.

Christian Robles, 28, was charged with three counts of child annoyance and a count of contacting a minor with the intent to commit a sex offense, all felonies. Robles did not enter a plea at his arraignment Thursday in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana, and was scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 18 in the West Justice Center in Westminster.

Robles was accused of attacking “random” girls Tuesday, according to police Sgt. Nick Jensen. Robles was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon Feb. 1, 2017, and lewd act on a child Dec. 4, 2020, in Los Angeles County, according to the complaint.
