Bralan Womack, a five-star Hartfield Academy football star, committed to Auburn over Ohio State, Florida, and Texas A&M on Thursday night.
In an announcement broadcast live by CBS Sports and 247Sports, the class of 2026 safety committed to play for Hugh Freeze after a years-long recruiting process that saw Womack receive interest from nearly every major program in America.
Womack is ranked by 247Sports as the top safety in Mississippi and the state’s second overall player. As a junior in 2024, he had 39 tackles and six interceptions.
The 5-foot-11.5, 195-pounder is a threat on offense, too, nabbing 54 catches for 1,045 yards and 13 touchdowns a season ago. He has 26 total touchdowns in three years of varsity action.
