Two festivals on opposite ends of Vancouver Island will be filling the region with music, all weekend long.

North Island Music Festival — community-powered, two stages, 65 artists

What: Fifth annual all-day festival built by the town, with music leapfrogging across two stages so there’s hardly a pause.
