KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The high school football season is finally here and we had an exciting game to kick things off.

Halls tried to battle back late in the game, but Oak Ridge takes the season opener over Halls, 28-13.

The first half was rocky for both team’s offenses. Both teams combined for five interceptions, Oak Ridge returning two for a touchdown.

The first pick-six coming at the end of the first quarter. Tyree Porter picks off Amari Lethgo and returns it 79-yards for a touchdown and puts Oak Ridge on the board first.
