CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A lifeline for West Virginians is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The Problem Gambling Help Network of West Virginia, best known through its 1-800-GAMBLER helpline, continues to help people reclaim their lives from gambling addiction.

The network provides services such as connecting people with licensed counselors, and free treatment for gambling abuse.

Thursday night’s celebration featured remarks from multiple speakers on the organization’s quality work.

The network offers free, confidential help 24/7 at 1-800-GAMBLER.
