GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - We’re just over two weeks away from students in Green Bay going back to school, and the district welcomed students back on Thursday with a celebration.
All 39 schools in the district were represented, along with other community organizations.
More than 60 different tents were available for families and community members to visit, with the event offering a ton of games, crafts, karaoke, and even a foam zone.
Attendees even helped create a community mural that will be unveiled sometime in the next couple of months.
The theme of the celebration was “to the stars,” and the superintendent says it’s a chance to show the community and the district working together.
