Diamonds to the Rotary Club of Dallas and all those involved in development of the Boundless Playground at the Dallas Intermediate School. According to a story in Wednesday’s paper, the Rotary club started just hoping to add a few pieces and a sensory strip to the existing facility, designed to be accessible for those with autism or sensory disorders, yet used by all youngsters. But contributions far outstripped original expectations, resulting in a complete, sensory-designed playground. The facility includes a cocoon-like getaway, balance tracks, controlled seesaws and other examples of ways to engage kids in regular play while accommodating sensory issues. “It actually speaks to children who have overload
