BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Southern University is gearing up for a promising football season, with expectations to top the SWAC West for the second consecutive year.

The team, led by Head Coach Terrence Graves in his second year, is bolstered by the return of both offensive and defensive coordinators. Despite losing key players like Derrick Williams on defense, the Jaguars have recruited strong replacements, including former LSU running back Trey Holly.
