The NFL wants everything to be perfect—or as close as possible—for the upcoming 2025 season. This effort won’t be limited to on-field football, as officials will play a crucial role in making decisions on the most difficult plays that require a replay review.

The league is set to significantly improve its replay review system by implementing the use of many more cameras in all stadiums. This is intended to ensure that the analysis of difficult plays is much easier to see.

“All NFL stadiums will be installing a dozen 4K cameras along the sidelines, goal lines, and back lines of end zones — giving officials additional angles for instant replay rulings,” reported Ari Meirov on X.
