Greensboro brought into lawsuit against former city attorney

The city of Greensboro has been named in a lawsuit filed against former City Attorney Chuck Watts and Cyberlux, the defense contractor that Watts represented while also working for the city.

James Curtin, a consultant and owner of the firm Carotank Road Holdings, initially filed his lawsuit on July 31 and amended the complaint Tuesday to include the city of Greensboro.

Curtin accuses Watts and Cyberlux of conducting a campaign of harassment and business interference against him. He claims the city has culpability in the matter because city leaders failed to properly supervise Watts while he worked for the city and company simultaneously.
