Well, here we are in August, so naturally kids have gone back to school. I don’t understand why, but they have.
Back in the old days, all of August remained a time to explore and share family adventures. School didn’t start until after Labor Day. Parents took kids to Robert Hall to select clothes in a place with all the charm of a warehouse. Then they made tracks to a shoe store where a man (yes, in those days always a man) used a Brannock Device to measure foot length, width and arch length.
