VERONA, Wis. -- Verona Area High School is inviting community members to attend the school's second annual Back to School Block Party on Sunday, August 24, allowing the public to connect with others in a social setting.

The high school's Black Student Union organized this event, which is designed to help families prepare for the upcoming school year while celebrating community and culture.

Guests are asked to enter through the high school's Field House entrance. The event will run from noon to 2 p.m.

There will be vaccinations provided by Walmart, free vision screenings provided by the Lions Club, information booths, community resources, school supplies, and more. No RSVP is necessary, and all Verona Area residents are welcome.
