Dumfries and Galloway Council is set to trigger a public inquiry over controversial plans for a windfarm in Galloway.
Members are being urged to lodge an objection to plans for 13 turbines at Glenvernoch near Glentrool.
Councillors on the planning applications committee will also be asked to oppose a separate development at Quantans Hill in the Glenkens when they meet next week.
