SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Coleman Police Department is advising citizens to secure their properties and valuables amid its search for a "dangerous individual" wanted for alleged crimes against his family after he evaded arrest.

Coleman PD reported at 9:46 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, that it is searching for Robert Mack Walters, a 44-year-old man from Coleman. The agency said "public safety first responders and concerned citizens combined forces late Thursday afternoon" after Walters "evaded arrest on foot in Coleman" during an attempt by law enforcement to take him into custody on multiple outstanding warrants.
