ANTRIM COUNTY — An update on a story we told you about on Tuesday, involving a shelter dog that was having a difficult time being placed in Antrim County.
Animal control officers say Mr. Pants, a 3-year-old American Bulldog mix, was surrendered along with his mother May.
She was adopted about a month ago, but Mr. Pants stayed at the shelter for 282 days before being adopted last Friday but was returned Monday because the gentle giant, weighing in at 120 lbs., pulled the new owner’s wife down while on a walk, after spotting another dog.
Mr. Pants is not good with dogs or small animals. The new owners were informed of that, but things didn’t work out.
Wednesday, Mr. Pants was adopted to a single dad with a four-year-old son.
Congrats on your new fur-ever home Mr. Pants!
